Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is only 8.9mm and 3.9mm when unfolded

Blogger “i冰宇宙” revealed that Samsung’s flagship phones are beginning to be optimized towards being lighter and thinner, and the body continues to become thinner.
The new generation folding screen Galaxy Z Fold7 is 3.9mm when unfolded and 8.9mm when folded, which will break the record for the world’s thinnest folding screen.

It is reported that the world’s thinnest folding screen (inward folding) is OPPO Find N5, which is 8.93mm when folded and 4.21mm when unfolded.
The thinnest model when unfolded is the Huawei Mate XT tri-fold, which is 3.6mm at its thinnest point when unfolded.
According to current data, the thickness of the Galaxy Z Fold7 when unfolded is close to three times the thickness of the folded version, which is far greater than that of ordinary inward-folding phones.

It is worth noting that thanks to the application of new battery technology, the Galaxy Z Fold7 still maintains the same 4400mAh battery as the previous generation after being greatly thinned, without bringing any additional battery life burden.
According to leaks, the Galaxy Z Fold7 will be released in July this year, with an 8.2-inch inner screen and a 6.5-inch outer screen. The inner screen uses under-screen camera technology, presenting a hole-free effect.

Equipped with the same 200-megapixel main camera sensor as the S25 Ultra, that is, the Samsung S5KHP2 CMOS, which has a 1/1.3-inch photosensitive unit, its imaging capabilities will be further aligned with the high-end Ultra series.
The core is equipped with a 4.47GHz high-frequency version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition chip, supplemented by 12GB of memory and Adreno 830 GPU.
