The 2026 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will be held in Las Vegas, USA from January 4th to 9th. CES has always been an important stage for technology companies to launch their new products of the year, with exhibits covering products that are about to be launched as well as devices that are still in the concept stage.

At this year’s CES, the world’s first robot phone—the Honor ROBOT PHONE—made a surprise appearance. The phone is equipped with a hidden robotic arm gimbal that can be deployed with one click, enabling fully automatic composition, target tracking, and ultimate image stabilization.

Compared to traditional optical image stabilization solutions, gimbal-level image stabilization offers a wider stabilization angle, ensuring image quality and stability without loss of sharpness. With gimbal-level stabilization, the Honor ROBOT PHONE can utilize longer shutter speeds, which, combined with computational photography, ultimately results in superior image quality.

In addition to its recyclable gimbal structure, the Honor ROBOT PHONE also has a thinking “brain” equipped with the new on-device large model YOYO, which has emotional perception capabilities, can proactively care for and recommend content, and coordinate all ecosystem devices, becoming the user’s personal butler and creative partner.

Honor’s chief imaging engineer, Luo Wei, once said that the initial purpose of the ROBOT PHONE was very simple: to maximize image stabilization and video quality. However, many emotional value features were later added. We will definitely provide everyone with an experience that surpasses DJI in terms of basic functions.

The mass-production version of this device will be available this year.
