Fast Technology reported on June 20 that the well-known whistleblower OnLeaks exposed the official renderings of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7. Compared with the previous generation, the biggest changes of Galaxy Z Fold7 are weight and size.

Specifically, the weight of Galaxy Z Fold7 has been reduced to 215g , which is 24g lighter than the previous generation. The inner screen size has been increased to 8.2 inches. This is the largest double-folding device in history. The size of competing products Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is 8 inches, and the size of OPPO Find N5 is 8.12 inches. The outer screen size is expected to be 6.5 inches.

In addition, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is available in at least two colors: black and blue. The DECO lens is similar to the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. It is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition platform and has a 4400mAh battery.

It is worth noting that Samsung has reportedly cancelled the Galaxy Z Fold7’s under-screen camera solution and switched to a traditional punch-hole screen because the under-screen camera technology would affect imaging. PS: The Galaxy Z Fold6 released last year is equipped with a 4-megapixel under-screen camera.

The phone will be officially released on July 9.
