Sony Xperia 1 VII is back on the shelves! It used to crash frequently on a large scale

Sony Xperia 1 VII had its sales urgently suspended in early July due to product issues. After nearly two months of investigation and correction, Sony officially announced today that the model is back on the shelves.

Sony said it has completed thorough testing, eliminated potential problems, and implemented preventive measures. In the future, Sony will adopt stricter quality control and production processes to ensure that consumers can use the products with peace of mind and rebuild market confidence.

Shortly after its release, Sony Xperia 1 VII experienced problems such as frequent large-scale crashes. On July 5, Sony officially issued an announcement acknowledging that there were problems with the product.

Sony subsequently suspended sales in several markets including Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, while promising to provide free replacement services.

This was a rare large-scale sales suspension incident by Sony in the smartphone market, which aroused doubts about Sony’s quality control and once again led to voices in the market that “Sony may withdraw from the smartphone business.”

As the incident unfolded, Sony’s financial officer gave a rare positive response to the Xperia mobile phone business issues at the earnings conference on August 7.

She started her speech by apologizing to users, saying “I deeply regret the inconvenience caused to all users” and emphasized that Xperia phones are a “very important business” for Sony and will continue to operate in the future.
