Vivo X Fold 3 series is set to launch soon, a Chinese leaker has showcased the device’s line drawings and some specifications for the first time. This upcoming release is touted to include the industry’s lightest version of a large foldable smartphone (expected to be the standard edition), setting a new benchmark for slimness and lightness among foldable devices.

Additionally, the series is anticipated to introduce the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 powered large foldable smartphone (likely the Pro version), aiming to deliver the strongest imaging capabilities in the foldable segment. The Vivo X Fold 3 series is expected to align its imaging experience with the X100 series, featuring a 50Mp main camera with a large sensor, a 50Mp ultra-wide angle lens, and a 64Mp periscope telephoto lens. The camera setup will also support long-focus macro photography, OIS stabilization, the V3 imaging chip, and 4K 60fps video recording, among other features.

The Vivo X Fold 3 series, comprising the Vivo X Fold 3 and Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, will differentiate in terms of processing power. The standard Vivo X Fold 3 model is expected to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 platform, while the Pro model will feature the more advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform.

In terms of display, the Vivo X Fold 3 series will see an upgrade in screen resolution, with the internal screen boasting a resolution of 24802200p and the external screen improved to 27481172p. This represents a significant enhancement in clarity compared to its predecessors.

A previous leak featuring real-life images of the Vivo X Fold 3 also highlighted the device’s capability to remotely control Macs, providing Apple enthusiasts with a compelling reason to consider switching to a foldable screen.

This series promises to push the boundaries of foldable smartphone design, combining cutting-edge technology with sleek aesthetics to lower the entry barrier for users interested in experiencing the latest in foldable tech.
