Samsung Galaxy S25 edge to be released next month

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge phone is expected to be released on April 16.
This is the thinnest model in the history of Samsung’s S series and will also be the world’s thinnest Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition flagship. It has been unveiled at the Galaxy S25 series launch conference, but only the appearance was shown and it could not be used.
According to leaks, the dimensions of the Galaxy S25 Edge are 158.2mm×75.5mm×5.84mm.
Its thickness is very close to the rumored 5.5mm thickness of Apple’s new iPhone 17 Air. The two international giants, who are also fateful rivals, have both set their sights on the ultra-light and thin track this year.
However, this extreme lightness and thinness comes at a price. The battery capacity of the Galaxy S25 Edge is only 3900mAh, and it only supports 25W fast charging, so its battery life performance is really worrying.

In terms of other configurations, the Galaxy S25 Edge uses a 6.7-inch center-punch straight screen, supports 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a right-angle middle frame solution, and the body uses a combination of ceramic back panel and armored aluminum frame.
The core is equipped with Samsung’s customized Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which supports AI image generation and real-time video summary functions.
The rear camera uses a dual-camera solution, including a 200-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.
Among them, the main camera is the same 200-megapixel camera ISOCELL HP2 as the S24 Ultra, which has flagship-level imaging capabilities, a size of 1/1.3 inches, a single pixel area of 0.6μm, and can support 10x hybrid zoom.
