Why iQOO 15 gets Samsung’s best mobile phone screen: Product manager explains the reason

iQOO product manager Ge Lan explained why iQOO 15 can get Samsung’s latest and best mobile phone screen.

He said that the screen is one of the strategic directions that iQOO attaches the most importance to. The iQOO flagship only uses the best screen. The two parties have gone through 6 years of in-depth cooperation and strive to bring everyone a better display experience.

Two years ago, iQOO and Samsung embarked on a joint R&D effort, bringing the world’s most advanced display technology and the best luminescent materials to mass production on the iQOO 15. Previously, such cutting-edge technology was typically found only in flagship phones from Samsung and Apple. With the unwavering support of Samsung Display’s deep technical expertise, iQOO is now at the forefront.

It is reported that iQOO 15 is the first to launch Samsung M14 luminous material, which is the latest and best luminous material of Samsung Display. Compared with the first-generation Everest screen, the luminous efficiency of the 2K Samsung Everest screen has been increased by 40%, power consumption has been reduced by 44%, service life has been extended by 50%, and ghosting has been reduced by 60%.

In addition, the iQOO 15’s 2K Samsung Everest screen adopts the new “non-polarized natural light display technology” to bring a better eye protection experience. This screen was the first to obtain the Rhine non-polarized display certification. In the human factors test data, compared with traditional linear polarized screens, dry eyes, red eyes, and eye fatigue have been improved by more than 50%.

When playing with your phone at night, you’re always worried that the screen is too bright and glaring. This time, iQOO 15 brings you a comfortable eye protection experience with 1nit of ultra-dark soft light, as well as various eye protection technologies such as Pleasant Eye Protection 2.0, hardware-level game eye protection, and DC dimming.

The phone will be officially released on October 20.
